Final Day in Thailand – Ao Nang for a day

Ao Nang Beach in Thailand

A quick ferry from Ko Lanta brought us to Ao Nang, which is on the peninsular part of Thailand and very close to Krabi Airport (AirAsia flies from this airport). Shannon and I had been here before but didn’t realize how pretty it is when it’s not raining and cloudy. Derrick was a little surprised we didn’t plan more time here but that’s a key aspect of a trip to the Thai islands – the weather is a very crucial part of the trip – so plan accordingly.

This beach has a ton of monkeys that are very friendly (when you have food for them that is)

If you let them, they’ll even jump up onto you

Probably not the smartest idea – letting a wild animal jump onto you in a foreign country

We only stayed one day in Ao Nang before an early morning flight to Singapore. Until next time Thailand, Saa Waa dee krap.
