Derrick, Shannon and I booked a day trip to the small islands around Ko Lipe. The snorkeling was really nice and the beaches very pretty.

The Thai sun was beating down, so we made sure to pack plenty of sunscreen

The crew made dinner for us as the sun set on the last beach. On the way back to Ko Lipe, they stopped the boat and let us jump into the dark water. When you disturb the water even just a little bit, tiny organisms emit a glowing light. This is called bioluminescence and was really cool. I don’t really like swimming in the dark but this was worth it

Back on Ko Lipe, we stopped at one of the many fresh seafood restaurants and had a delicious meal
