The sun is setting on our incredible year back in Busan, South Korea and it’s time to say our goodbyes. My last week of school, I trained the new teacher, John from North Carolina, and took time to take photos and reminisce with my students.

On my final day, several students who no longer come to the academy came back to say goodbye and I received dozens of thoughtful gifts and cards.

Cakes, snacks and candy appeared and it turned into a little party at the academy

I also made sure to get some photos with my co-workers and of course my boss, Mr. Hong

I’ll miss my students dearly and I wish them all the best.

We also had one last Korean BBQ feast and Karaoke blowout with our friends in Seomyeon 서면

So what’s next you ask??? Time for Shannon and I to take our honeymoon. We’ve been planning and booking for several months and have most of the trip mapped out. We left most of our stuff in Korea, so we know we will be back in May to say one final goodbye before returning to the States.
